MY CREATIVE PROCESS

Inspiration

I decided to focus on sacred spaces because of how intrinsically musical I feel they are. I visited four sites in the DC area and learned about, documented, and used them as a starting point for pieces of music. I originally planned on creating a multi-movement choral work, but due to extenuating circumstances I selected just one site in the end to write a full piece based on. In the gallery below you will find just a few of the photos from the sites I visited. All of them are my own original work.
